Privacy Policy

Synra keeps what you create on your device. Here is exactly what that means.

Last updated August 5, 2026

The short version

Synra keeps your data on your device. There is no account, no server of ours behind the app, and nothing you write in a notification is sent to us.

What stays on your device

Your notifications, their times and repeat rules, your templates, the sounds you have imported, and your app settings are held in the storage of the device itself. The app does not upload them anywhere.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, or the contents of your notifications. The app contains no analytics and no advertising software.

Permissions the app asks for

Notification permission, so the app can announce things. Exact alarm permission, so it can announce them on time. Bluetooth permission, only when you choose to share a template. Each one is used only for the purpose named here, and you can revoke any of them in your device settings.

Sharing templates over Bluetooth

When you hand a template to someone nearby, it travels straight from your device to theirs. It does not pass through any server of ours. Share only with people you trust, and remember that whatever you wrote in the template will be readable by whoever receives it.

The web demo on this site

The demo runs entirely in your browser and keeps what you create in the storage of the browser itself. Clearing your browsing data removes it.

Third parties and children

If you installed Synra from the App Store or Google Play, that store handles the download under its own privacy policy, which we do not control. This website may be served through a hosting provider that keeps standard access logs. Synra is not directed at children under 13, and because the app collects nothing, no information about them reaches us.

Deleting your data, and changes to this policy

Deleting a notification removes it from your device. Uninstalling the app removes everything the app stored. As we hold nothing, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf. If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. For questions, use the contact links at the bottom.
